Ryan Van Matre, DC, MS, L.Ac., is a sports-based chiropractor. He attended DePauw and Purdue Universities and received his Doctorate in Chiropractic from Logan University. He received a Master of Science in Therapeutic Outcomes Research from Indiana University, School of Health and Rehabilitation Science. He has studied at The Prague School at Motol Hospital in Prague, Czech Republic and took sabbatical to study Vojta therapy for children with developmental delays at The Child’s Center in Krakow, Poland. He has worked on the PGA Tour, with Purdue Track and Field and has contracted with the Indianapolis Colts for the past 16 years. He has authored chapters on rehabilitation including The Functional Training Handbook and Rehabilitation of the Spine, 3rd edition. He has taught post-graduate rehabilitation at various institutions internationally.
He lives with his family on a horse farm in rural Indiana.
